Andersen Racing strives to provide the best and most comprehensive training possible for future open-wheel superstars while giving its marketing partners media exposure and hospitality opportunities at some of the most prestigious events in North America.

The team provides a unique program utilizing multiple entries in both the Firestone Indy Lights Championship and the Star Mazda Championship presented by Goodyear, alongside their Pro karting team run by sister company Andersen Karting, and the newly revived USF2000 National Championship run by sister company Andersen Promotions.

With the recent announcement of the "Road to Indy" by the Indy Racing League, the Andersen team is involved in all three steps of that new ladder, as well as a deep involvement in karting, the entry level step below the pro open wheel ladder. Fielding strong multi-car teams in both the Star Mazda series and Firestone Indy Lights series, Andersen is a force to be reckoned with in junior formula open wheel racing.

In 2010 Andersen Racing will field multiple entries in 26 races in 20 states and provinces at some of the best facilities on the continent, including the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Andersen Racing's principals, brothers Dan and John Andersen, have extensive experience in series administration as well as team management. They've worked with many of today's top open-wheel stars, including several Indy 500 winners. They also understand the sport from a family perspective, as both of Dan Andersen's children raced in the past. Dan's son, Mike Andersen, is a three-time SCCA Formula Continental national champion.

Andersen Racing is headquartered at Andersen RacePark, an 18-acre facility it owns in Palmetto, Fla. that includes a 1-mile test track. This also showcases the team's efforts to always go one step beyond its competition, as even most teams in racing's major leagues do not own their own testing facility.

Ownership of a test track in sunny Florida greatly enhances Andersen Racing's testing program. Other teams in various series may rent the track for testing as the track's schedule permits. Andersen RacePark also hosts an active karting community. More information on the track is available at andersenracepark.com.

Andersen Racing is sponsored by Allied Building Products Corp.

The Indy Racing League is committed to the success of its official development series, Firestone Indy Lights. A mixture of road courses and ovals coupled with the Indy Lights' large purses, extensive media exposure and an absolutely excellent array of venues ensures this is the best place to be for drivers on the last step prior to an IndyCar career.
