Dan is a respected figure in the junior open-wheel racing ranks, with a proud tradition of helping develop young American driving talent. He founded the U.S. F2000 series in 1991 and guided it for 10 years, turning it into one of the top open-wheel development formulas in the world. Numerous young drivers Dan has worked with in the past are now enjoying successful careers in the IndyCar Series and in professional sports car racing. Dan owned and operated his own successful race team for his son, Mike, for five years prior to starting Andersen Racing in 2002. He also heads a $50 million per year contracting business he founded in New Jersey in 1974.

John has been involved in open wheel racing for 16 years, serving as Director of Race Operations for the Cooper Tires F2000 Championship through the completion of the 2006 season. His management skills and knowledge of event logistics enable him to easily step into the role as team manager of Andersen Racing's Firestone Indy Lights effort. John joins the team in an ownership role as well, and is also Dan's partner in all of Dan's other business ventures.

Michelle brings a wealth of experience to Andersen Racing. As series administrator for the Cooper Tires F2000 Zetec Championship for 10 years, her responsibilities included race scheduling, event planning, hospitality, travel planning, marketing, record-keeping and customer support. Her on-going relationships with tracks, race teams and drivers are a valuable asset to the team.
